The District Grand Lodge of Syria-Lebanon, under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York, was chartered on June 23, 1955, and consecrated on August 22, 1955, by Past Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of New York, Most Worshipful Charles W. Frossel, who flew to Lebanon for that purpose.

The District’s lodges, some of which started working in Lebanon in 1924, have members of all backgrounds, religions, and walks of life. The absolute belief in God and love for country—combined with the principal tenets of Freemasonry—unite them under one common goal, which is to build a better society for a better Lebanon.

Consecrated in 1993. Currently dormant. Used to meet in Beirut.
